Client Confidentiality

We shall treat as confidential all information obtained from our Clients or their representatives and agents.

We shall not disclose such information to any third party without the prior written consent of the Client, except to such persons and to such extent as may be necessary for the delivery of the works or as otherwise required by law.

We shall not use any of that information other than for the purposes of the delivery of the works.

We shall take all necessary precautions to ensure that all information obtained from the Client under or in connection with the works is:

  • Given to each member of staff (including temporary staff), sub-contractors and suppliers, only to the extent necessary for the activities of that member of staff, sub-contractor or supplier in relation to the works.
  • Treated as confidential and not disclosed without prior approval or used by any member of staff (including temporary staff), sub-contractor or supplier other than for the purposes of delivering the works.
  • Where it is considered necessary, in the reasonable opinion of the Client, we shall ensure that all members of staff (including temporary staff) sign a confidentiality undertaking before commencing work.

If requested by the Client we shall complete an Acceptance of Information in Confidence Form or a similar form as may be provided.
